Highlights

Wildebeest Migration, Africa
Great Migration Africa

It’s the world’s greatest wildlife encounter, an endless cycle of movement across East Africa’s vast plains. After calving season in the south, millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles begin to make their way northwest across the Serengeti from Tanzania into Maasai Mara in Kenya searching for water and fresh grass. Hot on their heels are the predators, like lions, cheetahs, hyenas and crocodiles. The Great Migration is always in motion, we’ll help you choose the right location to experience it at any time of year.

Okavango Delta

More than 15,000 square kilometres of waterways, lagoons, swamps and islands make up the Okavango Delta in northwestern Botswana. The Okavango Delta is a wetland in the middle of an African desert, attracting scores of animals to its fertile plains in a synchronised cycle with the floodwaters. The Okavango Delta is home to hundreds of thousands of elephants, as well as buffalo, lion, cheetah, giraffe and hippo, and is one of the few places to see the critically endangered African wild dog. Take a water safari in a traditional mokoro canoe, explore the flooded plains on horseback or fly between remote luxury camps by plane.

Kruger National Park

Located in northeastern South Africa, Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest game reserves and one of the most renowned African safari destinations, and for good reason. It’s home to a huge variety of wildlife including the big five; lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos. This is just the beginning over 500 varieties of birds call Kruger National Park home along with 137 other mammals. Be charmed by the hospitality of local African safari guides as you explore this vast national park for an unquestionably authentic African Safari experience.

Gorilla Trekking

Experience an African safari with a different focus, A Gorilla trek allows you to see these magnificent creatures in their natural African habitat. There are less than 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the wild, spread across the mountainous region that joins Rwanda, Uganda and the Congo. Trekking through the lush African jungle you can come face to face with these huge animals, who stand up to six feet tall. Though humans have traditionally been the gorillas’ main predator, responsible tourism now works to protect the endangered gorilla.

Or you can paddle down the mighty Zambezi River and through the Mana Pools National Park to come face to face with elephants taking a drink or hippos wallowing in the shallows. And you’ll always be in expert hands – Zimbabwean guides are the best in Africa with knowledge that is second to none.

Safari Namibia

Namibia offers an African safari with a difference due to its stark and unusual landscapes. Giant red dunes sprawl from the coast and desert landscapes make it a harsh environment for wildlife, however they have adapted and you will discover plenty of rare and wonderful animals here. Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife havens covering more than 22,000sq km. Head to watering holes to see elephant, giraffe, wildebeest & springbok up close during the dry season and when the rain comes, this landscape turns into a birdwatcher’s paradise. The unique landscapes of Namibia will imprint themselves onto your memory forever.
