An experience of a lifetime

Once the ideas are flowing, it’s time to start turning your dream into a reality. Designing tailor made journeys from the ground up means we invest considerable time and effort, so at this stage we may invite you to invest too via our journey-planning fee. If you’re the kind of person who values a seamless and stress-free travel experience and don’t have time to decipher every little detail, you’ve made a smart choice!

Get crafting

Now that we know you a little better now, your expert Travel Designer will hand craft a luxury travel experience tailor made to suit you. At this stage, you can have as much or as little input as you want. We’ll connect with our trusted network of suppliers across Africa and the Indian Ocean. We’re 100% independent so you’ll get more selection and better value for money. We’ll be in touch to share the incredible options with you until we are satisfied with your draft trip itinerary.

Your itinerary is ready

It’s all coming together now! Your expert Travel Designer will arrange a time to take you through your draft trip itinerary, painting a complete picture of what your time in Africa or the Indian Ocean will look like. This can be done in our office or via email and a call. You’ll then have time to review and give us feedback.

Fine-tuning

Based on your feedback, we’ll make any necessary adjustments and add any new inclusions until you’re completely satisfied with your personalised travel itinerary. Now, we will request your trip deposit so we can start to secure your bookings with airlines and suppliers. Leave all the necessary paperwork, like insurance, passports and visas, to us. It’s time for you to start telling your friends and get excited for your Forth & Wonder experience to begin.

Almost there

Now we’ll send you your final electronic itinerary and any final payments for your journey will be made. We’ll also finalise your beautiful Forth & Wonder digital itinerary, which you’ll receive just a couple of weeks before you go. This contains every little detail of your adventure, including hotels, transfers, activities and more. Your itinerary is designed to be kept as a keepsake for years to come.

Go forth and wonder!

Time to leave your life of deadlines and duties and discover your connection to nature, yourself and to those you love. We’ll touch base with you a couple of days before you depart to confirm you’re ready for your trip of a lifetime. Your personal Travel Designer is on hand for the duration of your trip, as will our 24/7 emergency support team based in Africa, so if you need anything remember we’re only a phone call or email away.

Welcome home

The relationship doesn’t end when your trip does. We hope your experience with us exceeds anything else you have encountered so that you’ll return to Africa – and to Forth & Wonder – again and again. We’ll touch base to see how everything went. It’s not just because we value your feedback, but also because we honestly never tire of hearing about each unique encounter with this truly magical destination, Africa.
